The play is about the world’s greatest love story as well as about the worst treachery during the Mughal period in India. Emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal for his beloved wife Mumtaz and was imprisoned by his estranged son Aurangzeb. The story covers an important chapter of the history of the Indian subcontinent.
