Andha Yug (The Age of Darkness)
SETU’s 20th anniversary celebration with an English play (translation) about the carnage and destruction of the dynastic war of the Indian epic Mahabharata on its final day.
Playwright: Dharamvir Bharati
Casting & Direction: Subrata Das
A strong double cast will bring the powerful dynastic characters to life, along with dancers, narrators and chorists, in 2:30 hours including an intermission. An ALL-FEMALE cast, Naaree, as in this poster, portrays fifteen Pandava and Kaurava males and their allies with Gandhari being played by the only male actor. This, however, is "flipped" in the second regular cast, Purush, in which the sole male character is portrayed by a female actor.

Evils of Casteism
Three plays as part of SETU’s 20th anniversary celebration:
Vijay Tendulkar’s Kanyadaan
Munshi Premchand’s Sadgati
Mini Love based on Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie
Four shows on March 31 - April 2 at Mosesian Center for the Arts. All three plays are going to be performed in each show. There will be a panel discussion on Saturday, April 1 at 5:30pm.
30 actors in a double cast, 4 shows, and 1 panel discussion. More details and the box office ticket link are forthcoming.
