6 Seasoned Whores and an Innocent

3 shows at the Theater of the Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut, in June, 2027.
Six seasoned women—branded as “whores” by society and hardened by survival, betrayal, and disillusionment—question the fragile dreams of love and escape cherished by a young woman of their own. 6-and-1, or 6&1, as we call it, is presented in a TRIPLE CAST. The play portrays their resistance, rooted in the painful experiences that led them to become sex workers in Sonagachhi, India’s largest red-light district.
Viewers discretion is advised for strong language on potentially sensitive topics.
A strong TRIPLE CAST will bring 15 characters to life.
